Final Presentations at BMI

At the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshops, students adapt pre-existing material for educational purposes during their second year, culminating in a series of final presentations of show excerpts.

With music by Jane Lee and lyrics by Christine Rosenblatt, The Hundred Foot Journey - based on the film and novel by Richard C. Morais of the same name - follows the Kadam family, displaced first from their native India and then from London. When the family unexpectedly settles into the French countryside, the heat is on as cultures and cuisine clash, collide, and eventually come together.
